National Mustard Day

Today is National Mustard Day!  The holiday, which annually falls on the first Saturday in August, is sponsored by the National Mustard Museum in Middleton, Wisconsin.     The museum is run by Barry Levenson, curator and CMO (Chief Mustard Officer...get it?).  Now, I can get on board with one man's condiment obsession, but when ole Barry breaks out into the "Poupon U." fight song in this NPR fluff piece (jump to 1:49 in the audio), I just about lose my shit.  Have a little self-respect, man.   The rest of you serious mustardphiles out there can check out Grey Poupon's guide to mustard flavors and pairings.   Image: Mr. Mustard, by capn madd matt
